Booking information

Group classes are kept to a maximum of 12 people so booking your Pilates class is essential.

Course fees are at a discounted rate and will secure your place for the entire term. Please note that as your place is guaranteed, the fee must be paid in advance. Prepaid classes are also non-refundable.

In the event of a missed class, an alternative catch up session will be agreed where possible, providing there is space within the term and the level is appropriate.

New clients can join partway through their first term at a pro-rata rate. For clients with no prior experience of Pilates a 1:1 is strongly recommended before joining an existing course.

Drop in classes are available, but on a first come first serve basis. As spaces are limited it is essential that you prebook to avoid disappointment. Booking can be on the day of the class.

Please also get in touch to arrange a private / semi-private class. This can be in the comfort of your own home or at an agreed venue. The exercises can be tailored to your specific needs with a home exercise programme provided. An hours 1:1 session is £35/ £40.

Corporate sessions are also available by arrangement on a regular or one off basis.

Postnatal classes can be started after your 6 week postnatal check, or 10 weeks if delivery was via c-section, and providing you have recovered well. All classes are arranged as a course of 4-6 weeks, but you can join a course at anytime. Classes are informal, relaxed and provide an opportunity to meet other new mums. Babies are welcome to the daytime sessions – if your baby requires feeding or changing during the class, please feel free to do so. Note that babies do not participate in the class, so please bring a blanket so that they can lie next to you. Evening sessions are for mums only.

Antenatal classes are currently offered on a private or semi private basis, so that exercises can be tailored to your specific needs during each trimester. An hours class is between £40-£35 on a 1:1 basis / £20 per person for 2:1 / £10 per person 3:1

What to bring

Everything you need for your Pilates class will be provided, including mat, head cushion, block, and small equipment such as stretchy band and ball. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. No trainers are necessary – the classes are done in socks or bare feet.

A general health questionnaire must be completed before attending a class. Spaces are limited so please get in touch to make your booking.

What to expect

All of the exercises taught in class reflect the defining principles of Joseph Pilates legacy: concentration, control, breath, flowing movement, alignment and centring. Exercises will encourage slow, precise movements.

Group classes are kept to a maximum of 12 so that individual attention can be given. This includes verbal and hands on cueing, as well as exercise demonstration. Classes are informal and friendly; so don’t be afraid to give Pilates a go if you have never tried it before. Please see the Pilates class timetable for current classes.
