Beginners – Register
Learn the fundamentals of Pilates including; linking breath with movement, neutral joint alignment and how to work with control. Beginner classes are suitable for those new to Pilates, recovering from injury, or who prefer to work at a gentle pace. The beginner level will provide a sound foundation on which to build your Pilates practice.
Improvers – Register
A dynamic progression from beginners, with greater challenges offered for each exercise. The classes are at a faster pace and some knowledge of the Pilates principles is assumed. Improver classes are therefore suitable for those with a basic understanding of Pilates and who wish to progress.
Mixed Ability – Register
A class that caters for all levels and abilities. Progressions are offered for each exercise so that you can work at a pace and that suits you. Mixed ability classes are suitable for all, however a basic knowledge of Pilates is assumed.
Intermediate – Register
Intermediate Pilates classes include challenges to coordination, balance, flexibility and strength, with faster paced and loaded movements. These classes are suitable for those with a good understanding and prior practice of Pilates.
Postnatal – Register
Designated postnatal classes help to regain strength in the pelvic floor, retrain core muscles and rebalance posture after pregnancy and the daily effort of childcare. The gentle approach that Pilates offers will help to look after the stability of joints and safeguard against shoulder and back pain. Its holistic approach also offers a sense of emotional and physical well being.
